OBJECTUS BOTÁNICOS

This project combines photography and collage to explore the environmental impact of everyday consumption. The artist employs a process called "object recycling," reinterpreting common objects from her domestic and personal environment, which represent both her feminine domain and her own consumption. Inspired by plant forms, she photographs and edits these objects, multiplying and transforming them into figures resembling botanical illustrations.

These new inanimate "beings" serve as metaphors for capitalism, evoking both mass production and the resilient growth of nature. Digital manipulation deactivates the original meaning of each object, opening up space for multiple interpretations. The result is a series of images with an apocalyptic feel, envisioning a future populated not by organic nature but by these artificial "botanical objects."

Este proyecto combina fotografía y collage. En él se explora el impacto ambiental del consumo cotidiano. La artista utiliza un proceso que ella llama "reciclaje objetual", donde reinterpreta objetos comunes de su entorno doméstico y personal que representan tanto su territorio femenino como su propio consumo. Inspirada en formas de plantas; usa la fotografía y edición digital de los objetos, multiplicándolos y transformándolos en figuras similares a ilustraciones botánicas.

Estos nuevos "seres" inanimados funcionan como metáforas del capitalismo, evocando tanto la producción en masa como el crecimiento resiliente de la naturaleza. La manipulación digital permite desactivar el significado original de cada objeto, abriendo paso a múltiples interpretaciones. Así, el resultado es una serie de imágenes que parecen apocalípticas, anticipando un futuro dominado no por la naturaleza orgánica, sino por estos "objetos botánicos" artificiales.
